Pub & Bar EPOS
Pub & Bar EPOS Systems Fast Service, Full Control
When the bar is three-deep and every second counts, your till needs to keep up. Speed ordering, open tabs, and stock tracking built for the reality of running a pub.
Speed, tabs, stock: the three things that make or break a pub
Behind every successful pub is a bar that moves fast. When a customer steps up and orders a round of four pints, two G&Ts, and a packet of crisps, the last thing your bar staff should be doing is scrolling through menus on a slow touch screen. Every second lost is a customer who walks to the pub next door.
Tabs are the lifeblood of pub trade. Regulars want to open a tab, add drinks over the evening, and settle at the end. Groups want to run a shared tab and split it later. Your EPOS needs to handle all of this without friction, including transferring tabs between staff when shifts change at 10pm on a Saturday.
Then there is stock. A pub's biggest expense after rent is the cost of goods, and the biggest source of lost profit is stock variance. If you cannot track what goes into the cellar against what comes out of the taps, you are pouring money down the drain -- sometimes literally. Our system tracks every keg, every bottle, and every pour, so you always know where your margins stand.
Features
Built for the pace and pressure of bar service.
Every feature tested behind real bars, during real rushes, by real bar staff.
Quick-serve speed ordering
Large buttons, bold categories, and a layout designed for the pace of a busy Friday night. Draught, bottles, spirits, mixers, soft drinks -- all two taps away. No scrolling, no searching, no delays.
Tab management
Open tabs with a card swipe, add rounds throughout the evening, transfer tabs between staff at shift change, and close out with a single tap. Pre-authorisation means you never get stung by a walkout.
Draught & cellar tracking
Track every keg from delivery to the last pour. Set expected yields, monitor variance, and know exactly when a barrel is about to kick. Cellar management becomes data-driven, not guesswork.
Age verification prompts
The system prompts staff to check ID when age-restricted items are scanned or tapped. The prompt is logged, creating an audit trail that protects your licence during trading standards inspections.
Happy hour & promotions
Set time-based pricing rules that activate and deactivate automatically. Two-for-one cocktails on Thursdays, discounted pints before 7pm, bottle deals on weekends. No staff intervention required.
Wet vs dry reporting
Separate your drink sales from food sales in every report. Track margins on each independently. Know whether your kitchen is profitable on its own and where your real money is being made.
Multi-bar venues, live events, and loss prevention
Large venues with multiple bars need every till synced in real time. When the main bar runs out of a certain lager, the garden bar should know immediately. Our multi-bar sync means stock levels, pricing, and promotions are consistent across every service point, whether you have two tills or twenty.
Live events and quiz nights change the dynamics of your service. You might need to enable table ordering for a seated comedy night, or switch to fast-pour mode for a packed live music event. The system adapts to your needs without requiring a different setup for each occasion. Food service integrates seamlessly when you run a kitchen alongside the bar.
Security is about more than CCTV. Every void, every discount, every no-sale drawer open is logged with the staff member's name and timestamp. Manager authorisation can be required for discounts above a threshold or for voiding items after a sale is completed. You see everything, and your team knows it.

Frequently Asked Questions
The quick-serve screen is designed for speed. Large, clearly labelled buttons are grouped by category (draught, bottled, spirits, soft drinks, wine). Most orders are rung up in two or three taps. Staff can also use favourites and recent orders for repeat rounds.
Staff open a tab by swiping or holding a customer's card. Orders are added to the tab throughout the night. When the customer wants to settle, staff pull up the tab, the customer pays, and the card pre-auth is released. Tabs can be transferred between staff at shift change.
Yes. You enter the keg size and the system tracks pours against expected yield. If your 11-gallon keg of lager should pour 88 pints but the till only shows 80 sold, you know there is a 10% variance to investigate -- whether that is spillage, over-pouring, or something else.
Yes. Set time-based pricing rules (e.g. all draught pints 20% off between 4pm and 7pm on weekdays). The system applies the discount automatically during those hours and reverts to standard pricing when happy hour ends. No manual intervention needed.
Absolutely. If your pub serves food, orders can be sent to a kitchen display screen (KDS) just like a restaurant. You can separate wet and dry sales in your reporting, track food margins independently, and manage the kitchen workflow alongside bar service.
